Legalize Cannabis in New York: Who is on the Control Board?
The state of New York may legalize cannabis sooner rather than later. On January 7th, 2021 New York State Lieutenant Governor, Kathy Hochul, tweeted “It’s time to finally legalize marijuana and create an equitable adult-use cannabis program that generates much needed revenue for New York.”
Only 9 short months later, Hochul has now announced the final picks to fill the positions of the Cannabis Control Board (CCB) and the Office of Cannabis Management (OCM).
